Devotional Day 4 || Glory in Suffering

One of the paradoxes of the Christian life is that our greatest victories often come through our deepest struggles. In today's passage, Paul describes how our "light and momentary troubles" are achieving for us an "eternal glory that far outweighs them all." This doesn't minimize our pain, but it does put it in eternal perspective. As you read, consider the challenges you're facing right now. How might God be using these difficulties to reveal His power and refine your character? Paul encourages us to fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. Today, practice looking beyond your immediate circumstances to the eternal realities that God is working out in your life.
