Devotional Day 2 - Walking in Obedience, Not Suggestion

𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥: God's Word contains commandments, not suggestions. This truth challenges our culture of personal preference and self-determination. The blessed life comes from walking habitually in obedience to God's law, seeking Him with all our heart, soul, and mind. Yet obedience isn't about earning God's love—it's our response to the love He's already given us. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." The Holy Spirit dwelling within us empowers what we cannot do in our flesh. When you face decisions today, don't ask, "What do I prefer?" but rather, "What does God's Word command?" This shift from opinion to obedience transforms ordinary living into holy living. Remember, you're not walking this path alone—the Spirit guides every step.
